Time flies…

March 3rd, 2008

I’m 25 years young today. I was born on 03.03.1983, which probably makes me half-evil.

In Japan, from what I understood, this day is a holiday when dolls are displayed, a doll festival. Dolls are merely things, with no hearts and feelings and easy to break. When you think they’re the ugliest possible reflection of who you are, you smash therir heads and throw them away. But what if they are no dolls?

I can think of three people who won’t wish me a happy birthday and one that always forgets it and remembers it either on 02nd or 04th March for some odd, odd reason. But that’s life.

    Sigg3, 25 IS young. On the other hand, I would not recommend leaving the internet to 13 year old webcam whores (not that you’re the one). :D

    I’m the one who looks at the pooter date and goes “hmmmm… March tenth” and then suddenly remembers that she hasn’t mailed the card she has on the kitchen shelf with stamps and all. Will mail it today. Sheesh.. What a dumbass I can be.

    Y’know, that doll thing is pretty interesting. You got me curious so I went and googled it and found out that the holiday originated from a Chinese custom where people get rid of bad fortune by “transferring” it to a doll and tossing the doll in a river o_O I personally think dolls are creepy. I hear the word and I associate it with Chucky or voodoo dolls, haha.
