How safe this city really is?
The answer: safer than the most of the European capitals, but not as safe as I thought.
The story starts on Tuesday; when a tram on my favourite line, which I ride on, like 10 times a week or so, de-railed in a street which was actually rebuilt earlier this year and where all the rails and motors were replaced. Of course, after thinking I could’ve been there and after realising that nobody was seriously hurt; I moved on.
However, today it continued. Three fires, two of them a couple of hundred metres from where I live, at the edges of the city centre.
Just when I thought it was over, I read that tomorrow we’re not allowed to go to the biggest park/fortress in the city, as destruction of an unexploded mine from World War II will take place.
This is odd.

The tram incident is actually quite frightening… when I was in Europe (and in the bigger city), I often rode the tram… I don’t know what I would have done had it derailed while I was in it–to think it could have happened to someone I know is rather frightening…
And… three fires? That seems a few too many to simply be a coincidence–perhaps there’s a pyromaniac of some sort living in the area now?

That sounds pretty scary. I wish there were trams in my city though. We did have them in the past, but they were abolished many years before I was born.
I travel mainly by bus, but they get delayed by the traffic, particularly during the rush-hour. A tram would be able to move freely, and everyone would get to their destination faster, so that’s why I would prefer them.

Destruction of a mine? Wow they just found it after all these years? Well at least they’re doing something about it safely instead of letting some poor kid walk over it.

Wow, the city sounds pretty scary to me. I’d be so scared about the tram de-railing and a sudden rash of fires. Yikes.

If the bus I took regularly suddenly ran off the road and toppled over, I’d be pretty freaked. Which is why I can see why you would be about the tram. All these instances are very weird indeed. And an unexploded mine? Lovely. lol

Yeah, I’d be disturbed about that too.

As dangerous as that is, it’d be a really interesting place to live. I mean, in my point of view, where nothing exciting happens, bad or good.
An unexploded mine? I’d be hiding in my basement hoping things will go according to plan.
