Mad World
This entry will be nowhere as inspired as the previous one…which doesn’t mean I’m not inspired…just tired.
The weather is mad. Sitting by an open window in the middle of January as if it was the most normal thing in the world is not normal. Watching TV and seeing how the most of the continent had a freakin’ hurricane 2 days ago is not normal. I so hope there will be some snow. Our Slava is on 31st January and I am used to a snowy one…seems like that won’t happen this year.
So, by the end of this week (eeek, tomorrow!) , I should do the following
- make the template for the site I’m redesigning for work
- finish the site for my friend…that was the first thing I was ever offered to design and we’re doing it only now, after 2.5 years of “consulting”
- contact some other people who asked me to help ‘em as well
- clean up this messy room
- make a list of things I should do next week
- make a new template for Invisible Movement, as I am starting to loathe the current look of the site
- reply to at least some of these piled-up emails, private messages and comments. AGRH.
I need to do the first two…the rest can wait, but it will sure make me busy. O_o The good thing is that I finally got cable internet. “Only” 8 times faster than what I used to have…a true paradise, as I can actually get some serious stuff done at home ![]()

Congratulations on the cable internet!
We had really strong winds here in the UK too. I’m hoping it will snow soon, especially as we haven’t had any so far this winter. As I live in a low-lying area it hardly ever snows, maybe twice a year if I’m lucky.

Bad wheather ey? Same here in Sweden. It actually snowed today! But sadly enough the rain came down shortly after which was a huge disappointment to me. Oh and fast internet is good! I got a faster one myself a few weeks ago.
Hug from Lara!

Hmm… it’s rather strange when a slava is celebrated to weather not suited for it. I remember when I came back from France–our slava was celebrated with snow (and it’s in May…).
Hopefully you get some snow for your slava–but not too much… nobody wants everyone to be stuck inside an apartment on a day that should be spent with others.
And wow, do you ever have a lot to do. It’s a good thing you have cable internet now, because could you imagine trying to reply to piled up comments simultaneously with a really crappy connection? Uck…

Hi IVA,
Any thoughts on the initial sponsorship discussion we had?
Kind regards

Yeah, the January is so warm. I mean, we had some snow yesterday and the day before it’s almost away. And before that, we had about 14/15° each day - in January. Hello? The hurricane last week was quire scary … we had good luck here, nothing really bad happened but it was scary nevertheless.

Wow, it is scary. I think the world is coming to an end, and the weird weather all around especially in Europe comes to show this…

It just snowed heaps today on Valentine’s Day. It’s freezing outside, but at least my heart is warm today, LOL.
Yes, I need to clean my room too (as well as my work and home offices)… and my mail Inbox is definitely piling up. Sigh, I need a vacation.
