What Kind Of A F**kery Are You?

Thank you, dear Melanie, for reminding me that I should write. The other thing that reminded me that I have my own personal corner of cyberworld to rant on was the email about donations and ad deals on Despair.nu. I’d so love to help them out, but I don’t have a credit card and, even if I did, we don’t have Paypal in Serbia. So, the only thing I can do is bold the letters and tell those who can to go and help Despair.nu out!

Also, thank you, wonderful Fruityoaty for nudging me yet again. If I ever get to see you, you’ll get a Bonžita, the best fruit and oat bar ever.

Well, one can guess I’ve been very very busy lately. I still need to reply to a bunch of mails, comments, look at people’s work and take care of my online stuff a bit.

Anyway, June 2007 was a hell of a month, so was the first half of July. I simply had no way to keep up with everything. It started with my bosses getting us to work on some stuff that would present our company better at the EXIT festival. At some moment, everyone forgot about me, so I didn’t get to go there and be present at all. It’s not like I wanted to go, but…this thing confuses me.

Somewhere at the beginning of the month, my dad’s old car was stolen. Police found it a couple of days later…but…but…in an unbelievable place. See what I’m talking about? That suuure got me slightly…confused. I asked myself the typical Why me? question. Seriously, out of all the people, why did such a bizzare thing happen to us?

The other why me moment came at the end of the month. Unluckily, yes, it happened at the festival where Red Hot Chili Peppers were the headlining band. It was something I was waiting for so long: to see them play here in Serbia. And I went through hell that day. We all did. And we ended up front, everything started out good…and then poor dear John started feeling ill and the show was cut for two songs, two jams and most likely one drum jam as well. Then a thunderstorm started and it turned into a complete hell.

Ironically, this Saturday, I took my mom to see the Rolling Stones and everything was flawless, perfect. As if the above was not meant to be.

I’m looking around people’s galleries on dA and websites; I see how people actually have the time to create something and improve, while I’m sort of…standing in one place at the moment. Let’s hope that it will change and that I’ll have some time to create in near future.

Off I go to work on my OVERDUE job assignments, reply to four hundred emails, update all of my online things, clean my room and…god, it’s a long list, only thinking of it makes me sick.

  1. OMG! An update from Iva. I was wondering what the heck happened to your blog. Well, I guess you were living your OFFLINE life (hopefully, in a good way)… and that’s always a good thing, eh?

I saw an update in my Google Feedreader just now, so I had to drop by and say hello! … HELLO!

Bonžita? Ooooooh, something for me to Google. I love finding out about new food stuff I’ve never tried before. I shall Google myself a recipe. I actually wanted to make a fruit & oat bar, just for the sake of blogging about it. Lame, I know… hehe. Hmm, you just gave me an idea. Bonžita… hmmm.

Alright, later days. Take care. I’ll be back when you update. :) Bye.

  2. Maybe all that is a sign for you and write a novel… I would buy it!
