Geophyzz,Green Green Bath Of Foam and Jingle Jelly

I don’t know if this is an appropriate title for what I want to describe, but I’ll call it a slow day. I’m experiencing something that’s so not common for Mondays: no one’s around, nothing’s happening, so…if I created a category for Lush, let there be some Lush.

GeophyzzGeophyzz would be the most expensive single item that ended up dissolving in my bath tub. When we got the stuff delivered in December, that was the first thing I wanted to try, but Green Green Bath Of Foamdistracted me so much that I almost didn’t notice the ‘Phyzz. However, they ended up in my bath together. When I tossed Geophyzz inside, unlike any other ballistic, it sunk to the bottom of the tub and I heard a rather loud Boing!, hoping that the neighbour from the first floor didn’t hear it as well, given the fact that it was two in the morning. I figured out I’d jump inside and soak as much of the Hawaiian sea salt as possible. Note to everyone: BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU STEP! It’s a bit nasty when a huge bit of salt gets under your feet, which happened to me. Suprisingly enough, after that little incident, the salt did dissolve and the scent was very foresty and pleasant. And whoever said that this is the spa treatment and a cure for a bad cold in one was right: I stayed in the hot water for as long as I could, it was pleasant, my fever was almost gone and I could breathe through my nose.

Green Green Bath Of Foam was just the icing on a perfect cake that Geophyzz already was. It has a more fruity smell, although the foresty note is dominant. It’s one of those things that simply enchant you the first time you see them. However, the foam isn’t as rich as it’d be with e.g. Hot Milk, so be ready for that or try to make it lather a bit more. The dominant scent, according to my half-blocked nose was grapefruit and I could smell some lemongrass, so it has a bit of that Avobath-ish wake-me-up magic to it.

Jingle Jelly dissapointed me for one thing: it lathers too much, unlike any other jelly I tried. Other than that, the scent is fresh and, being someone who’s really not familiar with “Western” Christmas traditions, I’d rather use it in the summertime. I think it’s a good one for guys as well: no glitter, no flower fragnance and it’s not pink.

Twenty Four And Twenty Six!

It’s my birthday today! I am 24 years old!
I usually hate my birthday because unexpected weird things tend to happen on 03rd March, almost like in novels…but this year I’m somehow happy. The last year started as the worst ever and it ended up being amazingly good in some spheres of life (while it remained disappointing in others… e.g. studying and university and one other thing I don’t like mentioning). In July, everything I was doing and planning went downhill, one of my biggest holiday plans failed, I lost one of my best friends and I don’t think I’ll ever get her back. After that, almost everything changed for the better but the damage has been done.

The highlights would definitely be getting two amazing jobs: the web design one for a rather famous company and the one for Lush (that one is web design too and Lush is famous, but you get the idea) and my trip to Vienna in December and seeing…OK, the true highlight was the moment when John Frusciante himself smiled to me and actually stayed there and waited to smile to me again when I took my head out of my hands and stopped giggling like a cat chick from a Tom and Jerry cartoon. And you know me, you know I don’t appreciate it because he’s a rock star, I appreciate it simply because it’s him and I adore him!

The other most beautiful moment of the year was the hug a couple of hours later when one of my best friends literally jumped on me after the same concert. I think the band members actually saw her get out of the sidestage area to the first row and hug me so tightly that she almost cracked my bones…and I thought I hugged her tightly the first time we saw each other in real life, two days before that. I want to make her a tribute entry, the same way I did to the certain collegue and a pretendent to the friend qualification a couple of weeks ago, but I will do that on 17th March, as it will have been 3 years from the day we bumped into each other on that day. 3 long years.

Oh yes, people? I met so many cool people during the time I was 23. So many cool people and a couple of INCREDIBLE IDIOTS who don’t even deserve a mention. Those idiots tore me apart, turned me upside down but the cool people of the past, present of future were always there to help me and put a smile on my face. I cannot recall a moment when I was completely alone and helpless because there wasn’t such a moment.

Special thanks to Jovana and Milica for being the people who turned into close friends whom I trust a lot and one year ago, to me they were just random passerbys in the sea of internet.

Plans for today? Do some work as birthdays are definitely not non-working holidays. Go to one of the Lush stores because a couple of veeery mysterious smiling co-workers insisted that I should come. And my mom is making a very special lunch…I asked for musaka, I will get roasted chicken and potatoes because it’s, as she says, more special, but I do not complain, I love both. And on Monday, I am inviting some people out.

Following Danube To Its Best
Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Serbia in June!
Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Serbia in June!
Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Serbia in June!

I just had to say it three times. It sounds so good that I have to repeat it and maybe I am also repeating it because it’s like a dream come true out of the blue. I’m getting my ticket tomorrow and I will post a pic of it. The event is called Green Fest and it will be held near the town called Inđija on 26th June, hence this entry’s title. Some friends told me there are huge billboards in some parts of Beograd already, but I haven’t seen one here in the centre yet…as soon as I do, I am aiming my Canon S2IS at it.

Screw-up
The computer is still screwed-up. I will have to reformat, before I actually lose my data. Lucky that I got a laptop although I’m not a big fan of them. I hope some people will understand what was happening to both my computer and my back (I’m due to a specialist check next week, it could be more from a sprained nerve and I am worried…

A Big One

The title of this entry hardly has anything to do with the entry itself. It’s a rather humorous way to contradict some things. And I’m enjoying it with as much pleasure as I’d enjoy roasted potatoes…however, there’s one slight difference: this doesn’t give stomach problems, unless I’m laughing at what I wrote so much that my stomach hurts;)

So, now that it’s official, I can proudly say what’s my new job: I am the admin of Lush Serbia!:) The site looks pretty oldsk00l, but I, with suggestions coming from the head PR/trainer/godhedoessomanyotherthings will make it look as cool as possible. And I’m so excited about it, since I’ve been Lushing My Religion for about a year now and I’m totally addicted, so this is like the second best thing after being like a kid in a candystore (which would still be an equivalent of something else).

Speaking of Lush, here’s my yummy stuff for tonight or tomorrow night:
Yummy bath

Snowcake soap and Puddy Holly ballistic

Other than that…gosh, I’ve had a pretty busy week, so everyone who didn’t get a comment back from me, even if it was long ago, it’s not on purpose. My busy social life from last week continued onto this week, but it turned out I also had a busy business life…if there’s such a thing. With little jobs here and there, now I also work for someone who’s free only on weekday evenings, so I’d often end up coming home at midnight and just jumping into bed. And on Friday I spent four hours freezing with 100-ish people in a row for something…and if I don’t get that something, I might just call 2006 the worst year of my life.

I wanted to bitch blog about how western culture turned Christmas into a major joke and how watching Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire for the third time in a year made me think of some things related to the psychology of the characters and ms. Rowling herself, buuuut…some other time. Too tired now and too annoyed with how I can’t set up my downloadables and gallery on Invisible Movement. Instead of that, I will just post a pic of John from the 56666887989789th RHCP gig in UK this year, taken by my friend Kim:
